On Tuesday, November 8th, Ohio voters approved a radical abortion amendment that removes all limits on abortion in the state. While this is a victory for the radical left, it is most importantly a devastating blow to the unborn.
The amendment, a pro-abortion activist brain child, passed with 59% of the vote. This means that Ohio has now become one of the most extreme states in the country when it comes to abortion.
Under the new amendment, there will be no limits on abortions at any stage of pregnancy, for any reason. This means that women in Ohio will be able to have abortions up to the moment of — and, in some cases, even after — birth.
Additionally, the amendment also removes all limits on gender transition procedures for minors. This means that children in Ohio will be able to undergo irreversible medical procedures, such as mastectomies and hormone therapy, without the consent of their parents.
This is, unquestionably, a dangerous and reckless piece of legislation that will have devastating consequences for Ohio’s children. And it is just the type of situation the leftist agenda is working hard to replicate across our nation.
